30 Second Sci Fi

In November of 2013 I set myself a challenge: could I write one short story per day for a whole year?

I like science fiction, so that’s the genre I chose. I decided every story should be new and complete – no To Be Continued! – and no more than 250 words.

I wrote one story every day, for a whole year, publishing my last story on November 3rd 2014.

You can check them out on the 30 Second Sci Fi page.

  1. Hi Philip. I just wanted to thank you for your stories. I teach adults who struggle with reading and writing and one of them is a huge sci-fi fan. It’s not always easy to find shorter texts to suit him but your stories have been perfect. Thank you again. Karen
